I love this place! It's got local flavor, and it's the best in town for seafood. I'm particularly fond of their catfish fillets... delish!!
All the food was amazing!!! The server, Amber, was very kind and had good suggestions. Starting out the fried gator appetizer was so good! I ordered the alfredo with grilled shrimp and scallops, the scallops were a good size, a tad sweet, & very yummy. 😋 My dad thought his seafood boil was a great deal at $17 & loved his meal. My favorite was the green beans! The hush puppies were some of the best I've had (just wish they had honey butter to go with it) & the mac n cheese was good too. Everything was huge. They served delicious sweet tea in the biggest cups I've ever seen. The portions are big, you could definitely share or take some home. If I was local, I'd come here all the time!!!

First time dining in the restaurant, walked in on Friday afternoon with no wait at all, and got seated right away! They took our drink order; I had sweet raspberry iced tea, which was nice! I ordered the fried flounder with two sides: some fries and a cup of clam chowder. I was disappointed with the clam chowder; there were no clams, and it had bits and pieces of potatoes and was watery, not creamy! Ask for Brandy she's friendly and helpful, Attentive!🥛🍽😋👍$$
My hubby and I found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. We walked right in no wait and had an early lunch. I had the stuffed red snapper & he had the fried Gator tail. Both dishes were very good and had lots of flavor. Also our waitress Jessica was a complete sweetheart if you dine there I highly recommend requesting her!
Absolutely perfect! Started with the adorable server Kaila she was so sweet! The food was plentiful, so take home was a must. The chowder was awesome, the pitcher of beer was ice cold too! I have to say I could have hung out for hours and talked to our server, absolutely a girl with dreams! She is working hard to accomplish them! I can't wait to return on our next visit to Florida! Mgmt, you have chosen some great guys and gals fir your place! Thank you for an enjoyable experience!

What a cool place! The prices were good and the food was yummy. The shrimp scampi and stuffed flounder were good! The service was attentive and kind. The decor was very cool. They took my dietary restrictions seriously and I was able to easily eat gluten free. The sauce in my review photos was amazing and I have to find some online!
outstanding service, very nice staff. place is beautifully decorated with sea artifacts. Good selection of fish and other seafood, has chicken and meat as well. I had red snapper with baked potatoe, corn and salad, with coke. All that was $35. This place is family friendly and has items fir kids to draw.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC SEAFOOD!!! I have now visited this restaurant three times and all three times the food and the service was exceptional! I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and the fried squash. Those are terrific appetizers. On my first visit I had their whole fried catfish. Delicious! Second visit I had a seafood platter with flounder, fried shrimp, fried clams, devil crab and scallops. One flatter is enough for two people! This last visit I had to try the frog legs And was not disappointed. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. I’ve also had their clam chowder and their smoked fish dip that’s served with crackers is nothing short of amazing. It has a cream cheese base so what I took home I spread on a toasted bagel for breakfast the next day. I heard Angel singing that morning. If you’re a local or someone just passing through, Cedar River is definitely worth a visit.
